Social Media unfortunately, makes it a tad too easy to share way more than you should.

Stacey tells us how to avoid this very common mistake!

Stacey Thompson's post is pointing the need and hopefully the demand for social media training. I would be happy to assist Chrysler Autos on how to enrich the language without using swear words and how to defend Bob Parsons's action, but how he could have taken the picture in a different way, giving context to the image.

I believe strongly in that the company should have a personal touch and find a natural voice, but it is important to understand how represent the company in a proper way on the social web.

What is your take on hiring a ghost / guest writer for your social media activities?

I'd say it's fine if you can find someone who truly understands your business (not easy) and if content can be vetted properly.

Which pretty much means you should probably keep it in-house.

There's not really a problem with Social Media- it's the people managing those accounts we should be worried about, i think.

I think the real “problem” with social media is that it brought to light all the crazy gimmicks marketing folks were doing… before it was public.

I agree with everything you said on the post :)
