Thanks so much for your comment. I think you bring up an interesting point, with TV becoming more of a 2-way media that users influence through their contributions. We are already seeing this now with shows taking questions from the audience via text messages and tweets. Programs like ESPN are embedding tweets in their programming that are generated from fans.

Although subtle, fans and TV viewers are already contributing and shaping the content that appears on their screens.

Jim: How do you manage to check several screens at the same time during a television program? ;) I see how Twitter are used during a popular event, e.g., the Eurovision song contest. That kind of music is not my cup of tea, but I could follow along with what is happening via my Twitter stream.

What do you think the interaction will be in the future? Would social tv be able to "change" the outcome of the program, the ending, conversation, etc.?
