The latest study from Cisco suggests that online video is poised to grow bigger in the next few years. In fact, the study predicts that video traffic will go from 64 percent in 2014 to higher than 80 percent by 2019, with video-on-demand traffic doubling in the same year.

Yes I agree that it will be a far greater commitment, but it does not need to be a huge project or investment. The business owners can usually use pictures from their site and create videos tailored to their services or showcasing their reviews. Also, they can create screenshare videos answering clients FAQ and post those. These are cheap to make an the time commitment is minimal. Plus once posted on YouTube, their website, and ranked for the terms around their service it stays around a lot longer than a tweet or facebook post.

Hi Justin,

I think you'll agree video can tend to at least feel like a far greater commitment than simply tweeting, adding a Facebook update etc. Does video need to be a huge project or huge investment for small businesses when getting started?
