Google "press release format" for samples. Also check Google Images for illustrations.

Also google "press release submission websites" for top sites to submit your PR to.

Let's get started soon!

Great advice! I have practiced a few, but haven't submitted a real one yet. I'll be doing them regularly in the new year (that's on my short list anyway).

Well written. If your business has recently expanded, developed a new product or sponsored a charity, this news can be used to gain some free promotion. All you need is a well-written press release that may appear in newspapers or on the internet. Words are the lifeblood of the media, and editors are always on the lookout for interesting content that suits their publication and has a newsy hook. By crafting a clear and concise press release fitting those criteria - either showcasing your business and products for potential new customers, or influencing public opinion about your market or industry - you could end up on their pages. Thanks for sharing.
