Squarespace is pretty straightforward, but of course it could seem a bit technical at the start. They have great customer service, answering on your questions.

I would say that you could create your own company website with tools like Squarespace. One addition to the site is a nice blog banner / company logotype. I prefer logotypes / blog banner with a personal touch.

I have heard that Squarespace is a great platform, but a little difficult to figure out. Many people are not technical at all. But like you, I prefer a personal touch.
