It is possible to take an old idea, re-invent it, and make it yours. But, it has to be unique. You gotta take it and own it! Make it remarkable. More on that in this article...enjoy!

Shawn, Thanks for visiting GOT Tea Party. Yeah, the coffee bean versus the tea leaf video clip is hilarious. I think it is made by The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf (International Coffee & Tea, LLC).

Be ReMarkAble! :) I have a tea blog with the name GOT Tea Party. It is a wordplay on the "Got Milk" campaign as described by Stoney deGeyter, but also the airport name for Gothenburg, GOT.

I've been there, Martin, and absolutely love the blog. Quite remarkable. Especially the video about the coffee bean versus the tea leaf.

Isn't that what Seth Godin always says? "Be remarkable?" http://sethgodin.typepad.com/seths_blog/2007/01/how_to_be_remar.html

If it is good enough for Seth, it is good enough for me.

Today you are fighting for attention -- there are so many things to distract your intended audience it's not even funny. I am finding that it is harder today than it was just 2 years ago to attract visitors with content, because there is such a glut of it on the Web. Chances are, no matter what you write about there are 10, 100 or 1000 sites writing about the same thing. You've got to be remarkable to stand out.

Lots of ideas worth thinking more about and then executing on! Thanks Stoney.

I really like this customizing idea:

We can easily apply this to SEO. Take ten sites in the same industry. What is unremarkable about them is that they are all targeting visitors that search using the same words. Nothing new there. What is remarkable is the site that targets those keywords into a unique presentation on the site. Now that's different.

Very true Q4. I'd love some SEO help with my site, TheStartupStudent.com if you're great at it.
