A few weeks ago I came across this interesting post on MarketingProfs by Christian Briggs entitled “Four Reasons to Jettison the Traditional Website and Go Social.” In it, Briggs remarks, “I see companies dispensing with the traditional website in favor of integrating the most popular social networks right into the website and communicating with customers in real time via tweets and Facebook posts.” Briggs goes into four different reasons why businesses might want to consider investing more time/effort/energy into their social profiles, such as Facebook, as compared to the traditional website.
