Great blog by the way - just one thing and that is bad spelling will not create a google penalty as Google or Matt Cutts have never actually come out and said this officially. Although if you want to gain a good reader base that is loyal, then the grammar should be good. This can then lead to better rankings because more people will feel inclined to link to your site.
