Larger retailers like WalMart and Amazon have already made up their minds. Though they too condemn the senseless violence, not all small retailers are certain banning the flag is the right decision. Instead, these businesses must do their own soul searching to decide the right thing for them to do.

How about waving the Betsy Ross flag, as an important statement of true independence?

Personally, I would never purchase a piece of Confederate memorabilia, but as some states still are using the symbol, I think they should continue doing it, as long as they decide to stop with it, through a referendum / popular vote.
