I think it's important to realize that many employees might be feeling just like this woman- I know I am.

I've been holding off commenting on this one. Although I'm pleased as heck that he's dead, how awesome it would have been to have him captured alive. I realize that if doing so would have put one of the Americans in danger it wasn't worth it. Maybe a taser would have helped?

Anyway, it seems like it's bringing much pride to America, and in a business sense, it will probably give some boost to the economy.

Hopefully it will also go a long way to healing the wounds of that terrible day.

I also agree, and I went through a similar experience after hearing the news-at first there was elation followed by apathy. You're certainly not alone...

I think there are a few reasons for this:

-Even though the wounds of the terror attacks run deep, especially for those who were directly involved, several years have gone by since the bombings, and the reality is time changes things- especially for those who *weren't* directly involved.

-Bin Laden has not been active with Al Queda for several years now, while terror attempts have continued. His death certainly won't make us safer.

-We've just got too many big problems to worry about in America to be happy that justice was done for very long.

I agree, Lisa!

I was elated when I saw it break on TV Sunday night. The only downside to me was the people who didn't want anyone feeling good about it. True, It solves no problem, it changes nothing in the world balance - But I'm glad the son-of-a-bitch is toast.
