Is it true that some of your managers have never attended a training course written specifically for managers?
If yes, then they have to be in a position of using “trial and error”, as their method of learning management skills. This is not good, because trial and error learning is too slow and the errors are too costly. If your managers have not attended a course written specifically for managers, then they are not as effective as they could be. They need to learn a systematic, detailed and precise management method, that will show them exactly what to do, and exactly what to say, in order to get the best from themselves and others. And they need to be able to implement the skills, the very next day, after the course.
