I lived in West Texas from 1979-1981. Andrews, Texas. I moved there from Cleveland, a metropolis, to an area of the country known as the Permian Basin, for one reason, and one reason only. And, it wasn't to sleep on the floor in a sleeping bag for 3-4 months.
