Managers tend to get grief from all sides. They get grief from their managers: They get grief from their staff: They get grief from the customers: Grief from all sides!
So,the first time manager would benefit from good management training.
Good management training should not spend too much time talking about abstract ideas that describe what managers should do, but without giving advice on exactly how to do it.
Instead; Good Management Training should be practical and pragmatic: it should relate immediately to your work context. The day after the training, you should be able to directly relate the training to your work situation and thus make immediate and large scale progress.
