Is There a Place For Social Media in Classrooms?
"Yes and no. As someone who lectured math in high school, I can say that team work can be encouraged through social media; maybe not in classroom because it may be a diversion and a potential tool for cheating. I'm speaking in general terms. Pros and cons of social media should be taught to students starting at 5th grade, as well as perils of internet and evils that can come with it. As long as someone is using internet carefully and responsibly to help others, and not hurt them - many great things can come from it."Does Google Know What's Authoritative To A Human?
"I still think Google could be doing a lot better job. For instance, I can type "internet marketing" into a search engine, and I'll get thousands of results for internet marketing agencies. If I type "1920 Ford Model T for sale" of course I should get fewer results. The competition for Google has gone stale, but I am glad that we aren't getting spammy websites as results anymore though, and because of that I still think there is a lot that can be done to improve search engines, but I think that's a long long road because there is too much content out there, and only one search engine."Subscribe
