I’ve never been able to pin down the first use of the term solopreneur. I saw it for the first time in the Wall Street Journal, in February 2010. And I actually wrote a post two weeks ago that deals with the definition of solopreneur:

I believe innovation, imagination, and invention are hallmarks of solopreneurs. My favorite definition of solopreneur comes from cartoonist Jen Sorensen, who says a soloprener is “the captain of an extremely small dinghy.”

I think you said in an interview at some point where the word solopreneur actually comes from (or, at least, where you ran across it.) I wonder if you could refresh all of our memories. I've left this comment over at the BizSugar community too. Maybe you could respond there for the whole community's benefit? Also, it would be great to give a little definition of the solopreneur. What does it mean to you? Is it different than a freelancer?
