This might be a dumb question (I'm new to all of this, and out of all of it SEO seems to be the most inaccessible - resembling a deep, dark, tightly kept secret word unto itself): Will there be a day when SEO is taught in college so that a degree can be had specifying the areas of SEO mastered, including the need for continuing education to be licensed as a professional?

Can it be systematized, taught, and then regulated, or has Google somehow prevented this possibility via their privately controlled algorithms? Can the SEC or FCC force Google to clue the "gubmen" in?
