The online landscape is changing so fast, constantly iterating, that it’s no longer sufficient to have a ‘website’, you have to have the right website to market yourself effectively. Websites with slow Flash intros for example are out-dated

Hi Jennie, great post and I love the Guardian comparison. What amazes me is that there are still some major businesses that are closer to pic 1, and don't appear to have invested at all in their website. Small businesses are one thing but why do you think a large org would still have a website like the Guardian in 1997?
