I'm occasionally surprised by some of the guest posts I've seen - the overall quality was OK, but some of them had questionable material (or motives) - one, on a Very respectable blog, was quite offensive. I couldn't understand why these posts were allowed on in the 1st place, since it definitely reflected badly on the host. Not only was I Not interested in the guest, but now (and maybe forever) I question the host's judgment.
