As 2010 draws to a close, I think it can be safely said that social media has gone mainstream. (It’s certainly gone Hollywood and it might even win a Best Picture award come Oscar time.)
As some businesses are still struggling to catch up with this constantly evolving medium, however, things will become more and more focused on what is at the heart of any good social media strategy: data.
