​A new report shows that companies can reach customers successfully via email content.

The Q4 2012 North American Email Trends and Benchmarks report shows that content for lead generation purposes has an impact when businesses take advantage of smart marketing features. For example, triggered messages – ones that are sent immediately after web users carry out pre-defined activities – generated a 70.5 percent higher open rates and 101.8 percent greater clickthrough rates when compared to business as usual (BAU) messages.
