Blog commenting is TOTALLY UNDERRATED by marketers and bloggers a like. Blog commenting does not only help build links and build traffic but also BUILD RELATIONSHIPS and this my friend is something that each blogger and marketer should keep in mind. Relationships can go a long way from being linked to or referred by one of your bloggers to having your guest post approved by the blog owner for example.

I agree with "Become a Regular Commenter" because this will quickly makes you noticeable and you might always get some traffic from other readers back to your blog.
