Raising the Bar on Business Etiquette
"This is an excellent article. As I noted on your blog, Carol, "People are always urging me to get controversial when I write, but when I do some people misunderstand." I think it shows respect to be civil to readers and the world at large. Even minor criticism can come across as mean-spirited, even if you did not mean it that way."Does Robert Scoble finally believe that Twitter Auto-Follows are Stupid?
"Hmmm, it's easy to say you won't follow people if Twitter has you on an "autofollow" list as they do for Mashable, or if you are already a celebrity like Scoble -- and you attract followers as easily as bees to honey. I doubt that Mashable would have as many followers without Twitter's "autofollow" help. I consider it a courtesy to follow people back, except when I see obvious spammers then I unfollow them or block them. I just don't think the rest of us can identify with those two. They are not typical examples for the rest of us. "

"Martin, yes, the QR code (really a 3-D barcode) is being used in Japan heavily because they are such a mobile-phone and gadget centric country. This is an intriguing article. I used to write about RFID (cousin to the barcode) so I am fascinated by this type of technology. - Anita"
