The Lost Workforce
"This really hits home, it's one of the reasons I am an entrepreneur. The ability to make my own schedule, work from home when I want but still take my kids to school or out to lunch when I want. I agree that there are many qualified individuals that could work from home, in their profession. Technology is making it easier every day. "Do Clients Need to Like You or Trust You?
"I think the initial point of interaction has something to do with this. From someone who use to cold call, in person, from business to business you had to be liked first, then trusted. If you walked in the door and didn't make an impression that they "liked" you would never have a chance to build trust. The other side of this is eBusiness. When I go to a website I don't need to like the salesman, owner or customer service rep. In most cases I never talk to them when ordering. But I must "trust" the site with my personal information. "
