The problem with poor tweets (I feel) is that they disengage the follower and then when you do tweet something useful that person might just miss it as they are not paying too much attention to your tweets anymore.

Having said that, I know that I don't care that someone is going to town to meet a high school friend and I won't tweet that. (BTW, I am leaving home in about 20 minutes to meet Pat Reardon, a high school buddy, at the Eiffle Tower) I did just boil water for tea, but I won't tweet that either.
The only things that I will tweet are things that other people may find interesting. I think this article is spot on (but I don't like the title).
