Thanks Niall - it is about looking hard at what we are doing rather than just doing the status quo. We are all creative people - every one of us - so why not do/sell/be who we really love?

Take an honest assessment of your products; this is great advice but very often a painful process particularly for the small business owner. As you point out the ability to be able to take an objective and fair look at both ourselves & our business is a key skill towards the development of both. Like Charlton Heston (as Michelangelo) said in "The Agony & the Ecstasy": "If the wine is bad, throw it out!!" He then removes the "12 Apostles" from the Sistine ceiling that Rex Harrison (as the Pope) wanted, goes into the desert, and dreams up "The Creation of Adam" from looking up at the clouds.
