One result of Google’s recent Panda changes is that Google will take backlink quality into account. Google’s web crawler finds your link with other links that it considers spammy, then your PageRank may take a hit. No one wants that, so when placing links to your site, drop the old search engine optimization blinders and consider a site’s authority and quality more.
