Learn More About Brother CreativeCenter

Thursday Feb. 21, Paul Robinson (below), Senior Product Manager for Supplies and Accessories at Brother USA, participated with host Shawn Hessinger of Small Business Trends, our sister site, in the first ever Google Hangout hosted here at BizSugar.com.

CreativeCenter HangoutBrother USA is our sponsor for the “Back to Business” CreativeCenter contest which recently concluded here on BizSugar.com. Please stay tuned for the results of the contest including winners coming soon.

The Hangout
The topic of the hangout was the Brother CreativeCenter, featured in the contest. Small business owners and entrepreneurs can use the free Web tool to design business cards, brochures, mailers, flyers, and other promotional materials.

Check out the promotional items contest participants designed using the CreativeCenter.

Robinson gave us a screen share demonstration of the Web tool, which he says requires no additional software or design skill to use.

The Creative Center
Robinson explained how the CreativeCenter is updated weekly with fresh design elements business owners can use to create their promotional items.

With a site containing everything needed to start creating business cards, brochures, and other materials from scratch, Robinson said the company aims to provide a flexible solution business owners can access from any computer, and use to work collaboratively with partners or employees in other offices or even in other cities.

The Web tool offers an on-demand way to create as many or as few materials as you need for your business using an office printer, Robinson explained.

Pierre DuBois, a contributor to Small Business Trends and a small business Web analytics consultant who used the Brother CreativeCenter to make promotional material for his company Zimana, also joined us on the hangout to talk about his experience with the software.

The Contest
Small business owners here in the U.S. had until March 4 to create flyers, mailers,  or other marketing materials for their businesses, making them eligible to win a prize suite of Brother products and accessories worth approximately $500.
