With the launch of the newest app for the iPad, iBooks 2, Apple has set out to reinvent the textbook. You remember those big, cumbersome tomes of paper that are usually outdated before the printing press even has a chance to warm up? Well they’ve now moved into the 21st century.

And it's about time! I remember having to lug a huge school bag full of heavy books around as a school goer. Digital textbook have so many advantages, it will be really interesting to watch where this goes.
