Ivan: Thanks for your input. You could use Bambuser from the start and on iPhone 4, I think. It has become pretty popular in Europe. We used it during the (un)conference, WebCoast, March 13-15.

Ivan: Did you hear about Twitter's action against Meerkat during SXSW? They recently acquired a similar service, so Meerkat's stream didn't work in Twitter...

How would you compare and contrast Meerkat with Bambuser?

Have you used this service in your business?

A service like Meerkat is perfect during a business conference.

Martin,

The acquisition of Periscope changes things, but I'm not sure how Meerkat will respond to that.

I'm not sure how Meerkat is becoming so popular. I assume it's due to the mentions from popular business figure like Gary Vaynerchuk, Pete Cashmore and so on.

Meerkat is not the first in live streaming, and Bambuser is one of the examples that the app is not that unique, IMO.

Meerkat isn't available on Android, though... and it requires iOS 8, which will make my iPhone 4 'obsolete' :)
