If you run Samba, update it now. That's easy. Many of you, however, are running Samba without knowing it on the Network Attached Storage (NAS) device you use to share files with all your computers in your home or office. If that's use, use the NAS's control panel to close out any public shares and block port 445 on your router to the Internet.
