Solid tips. Ezine works very well. Just by posting some 5-10 good articles in ezine we can continuously get good amount of traffic from it.

#2 was a little disturbing, JC. If I received Personal emails w/ads or links attached, I'd wonder what was up. If they're family or friends, why are they spamming Me?

Duncan, signatures are not considered spam. In businesses and even within friends - signatures are used to sgow your professional info.
