What the writer fails to either discuss or understand is that SaaS is only one thing: lower-risk. That means less money up front, less time to _Evaluate_ it, less time to learn it, and less [dedicated] equipment you had to buy to make it work.
If you can sign up for it, you already have enough equipment to run it....simple.
SaaS is like renting a car, its only easier, not cheaper.
