Apple has announced the release of its new Music Memos app on iOS, allowing musicians and songwriters to save and organize their musical ideas while on the go.

The Music Memos app was inspired by Apple’s Voice Memos app, and allows users to record musical clips using their device’s microphone in a high-quality, uncompressed format. Users can organize their clips by giving them names, tags and ratings.

Has Apple left the podcasters in the "dust" now? In the past, Garageband, was a free handy dandy tool for podcasters. Apple has a splendid tool called Logic Pro, with a price tag of $200.

The music memo is a nice feature!
