Hi Adam,

I think the last point is particularly important. If starting a new business is something you've been thinking about, remember there are tax benefits. Structure your start-up schedule accordingly.

That's right, Heather, except I think most entrepreneurs and new small business owners don't realize this- it's easy to get lost in the process of getting a new business off the ground. Those who do realize, though, can benefit from a lot of savings.

Great article and I agree with you. Whether you are having a good year, rebounding from recent losses, or still struggling to get off the ground, you may be able to save a bundle on your taxes if you make the right moves before the end of the year. Thanks for sharing.

A hundred percent, but even bigger savings can be realized if a small business owner starts tax planning at the beginning of the tax year and not just waiting till the end.
