f it hadnt been for chess grand master Garry Kasparov Michael Smith might not have been running Mind Candy today. Hed almost certainly have been an entrepreneur though. But it was his shot glass chess set that got everybody talking about his first company Firebox.com. That said, there was a whole lot more to Firebox and one sliding doors moment rarely makes a company.
