You know what, I’m not going to pretend that I’m the most knowledgeable person in the world when it comes to running a business and being an entrepreneur in general. I’m probably certainly not. But since I have some experience as a business owner and I’ve been through the whole process of dealing with business start-up issues, I think I can shed some light on the topic.

A great post Karol.

Lots of good tips there, and ways to overcome that initial first few weeks. Productivity, if addressed very early on, to suit the business, and the person's life, will save so many wasteful hours later. I wish I knew more about time management and productivity (and personal responsibility) many years ago when I became self-employed. It would have saved me time, money and effort on breaking bad habits and introducing better ways of working.

A great read, thanks!

Awesome piece; great title too. This is something I wish I'd come across when I first decided to start an online business 8 years ago. It sure would have made things much easier. Thanks for sharing this with our community.

Great article. One thing that people need to keep in mind is that the business is going to open and go on if they are ready or not. You can prepare for your startup, but once it starts, hang on to your hats! It is controlling how you deal with the fact that is important. Thanks for sharing this as a reminder for those of us who have been there and words of wisdom for those going into it. If you are reading this article as a new entrepreneur, take it to heart as the author knows what she is talking about.

Sian,

This could be the first time I've seen a post quite like this. I think listing strengths is a great place to start for any entrepreneur and maybe something you should think about doing even before launch.
