Definitely a resounding Yes!! I have come across this more and more recently whilst helping out a bit with VisitorM.com and their tourism mobile app. I was surprised at how many people don't even realise their website can't be viewed on a mobile easily. Great post - thanks for sharing

Yes and Yes!! Everyday people just more and more use their mobile phones like internet browsers! That is a huge reason why many business sites need to have mobile version!
