Boeing builds airplanes, Newcastle Systems builds mobile carts with power, Tillamook makes cheeses and ice cream and Brown & Haley creates the most amazing confections. People who work for such companies have my appreciation and respect. What they do is taken for granted by the typical consumer

Within those companies that build things... are artists.

Art is not "art" based on painting, music, etc.

Yes to your idea from Seth. He refers to art not from painters but possibly from welders. (such as you)

I have worked in the welding industry and there I met several companies that built things. Nowadays I want to meet passionate small business owners who want to "make art" according to Seth Godin's description.
