Hi JJ.

I had that problem just working 2nd shift in a hospital. The supe worked 1st - who ever was there that day, working 1st shift, got all the news. Anyone off that day, or working 2nd or 3rd shift, was lucky to get new info. It all depended on the whims of those who were there that moment.

The irony is that this utter lack of communication occurred in the communications department. No thought was ever given to typing it up & putting it on the bulletin board - the transmission was all verbal (if & when it occurred).
