PayPal and Flickr do come out to be great examples and I'd not heard either story before.

That's what I call an inspirational read. Many will find this encouraging. We all have that 'idea sucks' kind of moments, but look at the examples given. If you want to make something happen, start doing it anyway and don't give in to negativity.

Getting that first great idea is kind of like when you were a kid playing music with friends in the garage and hoping to be the next Beatles/Led Zepplin (insert your favorite band). But you don't play any gigs or put together a press kit to get any gigs because you can't think of that REALLY cool band name.
