Thanks for comparing and contrasting Indiegogo and Kickstarter as crowdfunding campaign tools.

My goal is to publish a book on tea on December 16, 2015. I want to start a crowdfunding campaign (with giving away original artwork for the book as rewards for donations) for the English version of the book, and I wonder when is the best time to start the crowdfunding? It looks like Indiegogo is the best bet without any deadline. I have heard about Pubslush and will check it out.

Do you have any tips and suggestions? Would you buy a book on tea / donate money for my writing project?
