April - Very interesting list. I would add one more to it - My idea is so unique and interesting that it is bound to succeed. Many people think it is all about having the right idea when it comes to entrepreneurship. In reality it is about how you execute that idea that determines the success. As I always tell my clients - ideas are dime a dozen, it's the execution that makes the difference.

Such a good point! Because very few ideas are truly unheard of, it takes proper execution of a solid plan to really make it. Thank you for your input!

I totally agree with "The reality is, small business owners come in every shape and size, and there isn’t just one set of rules on how to be an entrepreneur". That is a tough one to learn though!Thanks for this amazing article.
