As an entrepreneur mentor and startup investor, I see with sadness the 50 to 90 percent that fail. I always have this historical myopia problem with me. I tend to overly optimistic on my startup, simply because what I do has worked well in the past. I was wrong.
My startup is doing fine, but not to the extent that I've always hoped for. I'm still learning the market and see what changes. I discovered that a lot have changed and let's say that I'm using old, obsolete data and info to make my projections.
