7 Key Points for Brainstorming Startup Ideas

One of my favorite exercises is brainstorming startup ideas with other entrepreneurs. You can gain a lot of value from a fresh perspective. When “pitched an idea” for brainstorming or feedback I tend to go through the same 7 key points and questions each time.

Ben's ideas are always a unique take on the conventional and should be considered as a way of viewing startups from a slightly different perspective.

I agree. This is a ton of fun. I love the 7 points and questions. I think this is also an useful exercise for established companies from time-to-time. Old, successful businesses are rarely doing the same thing they started doing and young dead ones often never did this exercise more than once.

Very true and the fact that why a lot of established companies can go from hero to zero in just one year is because they are complacent with coming up with new ideas.
