I agree with you Angel Biz, freelancing is really a very good way that stay at home mums can make some some from home. Just as you said, oDesk, Elance and Guru are really some good places to start with.

Caron - These are really great ideas. Particularly, freelancing can help you add extra income without sacrificing your schedule. You can take on more or less work as time permits. Sites like oDesk, eLance and Guru can help you find work that matches your skills and expertise.

I would caution that you cannot expect overnight success with any of these. Building a business is hard work and it requires patience. Be prepared to stay in for long haul and don't give up.
