I know some entrepreneurs with successful businesses, and others who seem to have a great relationship with their family, but I can’t think of many who have both. Some people would argue that these two successes are mutually exclusive, but I’m not convinced.

A precise and actionable guide indeed, Martin. It can be really though to make time for family when you own a business, especially if you're working from home.

I've found that it can be harder to work from home because (depending on your living situation) there are a ton of distractions and it can be challenging to get any work done at all.

Lately I've become all about "Action lists" as your title says, rather than "check lists". The word action has so much more power and intent behind it and it seems more appropriate for the action tasks that need to be completed.

Thanks for sharing your insights and for sharing your piece with us on bizsugar. I appreciate it.

Nice entry Martin, very realistic. We work to make our family happy and complete. That's why we cannot afford to loss every special moment with them especially the breakfast and dinner in everyday living. I highly agree that balance is very important in our life.
