Great point. The social media manager helps you juggle your hectic business schedule so that you can focus on the core aspects of your business. Having someone manage your postings on social doesn't stop anyone from being a leader in their own right. People like Amy Porterfield and Kim Garst are well-recognized leaders and evangelists for Social Media but they both have people on staff to manage their Twitter and Facebook accounts.

Nikki: Thanks for your input. I was pulling your leg a bit and wanted to play the devil's advocate and see your response to my question.

It is easy to give away the responsibility to somebody else, by hiring a new person.

As a social media evangelist, I know that my role will be replaced by social media manager in the future, but it is still early on in the new media transformation of communication.
