Indeed having your website mobile friendly is essential these days, if you want your site to rank higher in the search results (or to appear in the mobile results)... Otherwise, your potential clients searching on mobile devices will see your competitors' websites instead (at least those that are mobile friendly)

Excellent points and couldn’t agree more. Any business that does not have mobile marketing strategy in place stands yo lose business to their competitors.
