Great post, Neil. It's important to know what social media platform is the best one for your particular niche or site. I'm currently on Facebook and Twitter. However, I've noticed that a huge chunk of my traffic comes from Facebook more than Twitter. That's where my audience mostly hangs out in correspondence to the topic of my blog (traffic generation). Once you've pinpoint where your audience is, it's much easier to use social media more effectively in your marketing and business building efforts.
