Have you participated at an unconference? It is interesting to see the power of the world wide web and how you could arrange a conference generated by the participants. WebCoast is the first uncoference for web enthusiasts on the west coast of Sweden.

Martin, this is a really exciting concept and, even though it is held at a physical location, has some definite similarities to the way communities are built online. I imagine the trick of the whole thing is to coordinate the event in such a way so that collaboration happens without imposing an outside agenda. Thanks for sharing and will you be blogging again about the event. I think everyone would love to hear more.

Hi Martin,

This must be the "Opposite George" of conferences, like when Seinfeld's George Costanza decided the only way he might succeed would be to do the opposite of whatever he thinks will work. If nothing he thinks is ever right, then the opposite Must be right! It worked - he got the NY Yankees job.
